Chris Purcell
Chris Purcell is an up and coming stand up comedian and singer
songwriter from Bishop's Stortford. He mixes humourous deconstruction
of music with some comic songs and stand up comedy about topics ranging
from his fear of dogs to his love of maths, all with the aid of his
ukulele.

Marion Leeper
Marion Leeper grew up in a family of actors, raconteurs, tellers of tall tales and downright liars. She has been listening to and telling stories (true and less true) for longer than she can remember.

Phoenix Theatre School
We are based at Burnt Mill Specialist Status Performing Arts College in Harlow and provides classes in Drama, Musical Theatre and Dance. The school believes that performance is an art form that can be learnt and students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own development via commitment and dedication to all classes and performance opportunities. Phoenix is run by Phil Dale, who will be producing the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at The Rhodes Centre in Bishops Stortford this year.

Exerts from a one act musical play ‘The Last Five Years’ telling the story of New York couple Jamie and Cathy as their marriage caves in under the pressure they face in their careers. It begins with Jamie at the start of the relationship and Cathy at the end, telling the story both forwards and backwards at the same time.
