ADORNO STONE
Saturday 19.30 on Green Stage Adorno Stone haven't taken anywhere 'by storm'. They are not too keen on inclement weather. Adorno Stone won't 'blow you away'. If you've made the effort to come and see them, they don't want you to leave on an air current. Adorno Stone didn't 'explode' onto any scene. They think it would be rude to violently burst as a result of internal pressure especially when they are new to the market. Music. Forget about the tired journalistic cliches. It’s about the music. The kind of music that makes you tap your foot before you’ve even realised you’re doing it. The kind of music that reminds you of something or someone. The kind of music that you instantly know and appreciate. They aren't fusing genres. They aren't creating a movement. They just want to make good songs.

DEAN AUSTIN AND THE STRANGERHOOD
“Austin’s music is propelled along by a powerful and evocative voice that growls for your attention and then seduces with its suppleness, along with a forceful and commanding acoustic guitar technique. This is no thirty-something’s bedroom music, but a thunderous rumbling of sound and fury with a very contemporary slant. His growing coterie of admirers eagerly anticipate his first full-length recording, due some time in the new year, which, there is no doubt, will be an eruption on a formidable scale." My songs sound old, from an innocent time, with latin rhythms and a story to tell, sometimes emotional, and sometimes silly. THE HORN is a five piece, grinding blues band that formed in February 2005. The Horn is the creation of a bleak winter in Essex. With this a new genre has been moulded, which is a Bluesy sound raw in essence, yet polished in its texture.

ROLAND CHADWICK
Roland Chadwick: Half Man - Half Guitar. Some say he’s the Guitar Slinger. Some say he’s the Wizard of Oz. The mystery deepens and the truth may never be told but those in the know, know that Roland Chadwick is music to his bones.
Roland is a Composer, Guitarist and internationally acclaimed recording artist. A trained classical guitarist, he plays "anything with frets". Born in May 1957, Wollongong, NSW, Australia, Roland made his Sydney Opera House debut in 1988 and has since built a reputation as Australia’s master Guitarist/Composer.
