ACTABILITY

Macbeth – 30 scenes in 30 minutes! Actability is a new integrated, inclusive theatre company involving people with a learning disability in the creation of high quality theatre productions. Its aim is to provide real opportunities for people with a disability to create great theatre whilst having a good time! PERFORMANCE POETRY - Simon Vogel and Friends

Simon has been writing and performing poetry in the East Herts, and West Essex area, for several years, where he has established an impressive reputation. Cool Bananas. Since 1997, Simon has published several collections of verse. August 2001 saw his appointment as the very first poet-in-residence at the Broadstairs Folk Week in Kent. In March 2002, his first full length book COOL BANANAS, was released, to much acclaim, followed by the release of his new book in 2006: THE PORCELAIN LOVEBIRDS.

SNAP YOUTH THEATRE Ages 7 to 11

Monologues and improvisation. This will be run by local Drama Students. Interactive drama improvisation, with lots of FUN.

 

4.45 TO 5.15

CLAVERING PLAYERS

Clavering players give their rendition of some of the well known and loved Victoria Wood sketches.

12 noon to 1.30 p.m. MAKE YOUR OWN SHAWM Make your own reed wind instrument with Richard Twinn (Children and Parents).

1.30 To 3.30 p.m. FESTIVAL MURAL Join a local artist in creating a Festival Mural PUPPET MAKING LANTERN MAKING LIGHTING THE FESTIVAL (Details and times of these workshops will be confirmed at a later date).
